Our Dacha house is more then 50 years old. It was built in 1951 and it has already celebrated its 63th birthday, to be exact.
A week ago the house looked like this:

And our guests saw its old walls. But this weekend we made a gift to the house.
Dacha was built in 1951. We have kept to our guests the memory of the Soviet period. The whole atmosphere of the house consists of old furniture of times of the USSR, we have a lot of old Soviet toys, belongings and clothes.
Sometimes Russian TV teams shoot films about Soviet times at our Dacha.

International chess tournament began last summer.

Russian guests play the white pieces, and foreigners play black. All players are not professionals. Some guests were playing chess for the first time at the cottage.
In late April Dacha met two cute tourists from Holland. The weather was cold and rainy. Dutch guests stayed at Dacha for more than two hours. We had lunch together, talked a lot to each other about the traditions of our countries.

In April we were visited by great guests from the hot Thailand.
They booked a full tour with lunch and tea.

What is the Dacha?
Welcome join us for the New year! Our fur-tree is decorated with Soviet toys of 50-60th years. You are greeted by Ded Moroz (Russian Santa Claus) and snow maiden, his granddaughter.

The international chess championship began at Dacha on 16 of June 2013. Russian guests of Dacha play against visitors from all other countries of the world.
