 All Russia celebrates New year on 31 December, at 12 o'clock at night.

We usually decorate a Christmas tree and prepare a lot of salads or snack. At 12 p.m. we open the champagne under the peal of bells.

 Dacha is covered with snow. You'll get warm near the furnace, will listen to the history about Soviet times and dachas in Russia. And after that we will drink tea from a samovar with home-made cakes and jam
